Uh oh, I've had a few drinks and I'm getting nostalgic.

I incorrectly assumed buying this would inspire me to do my dishes. I don't want to dirty it, so my dishes remain.

I'm not one for extreme cuteness but theres something about two little dots and a smile on an otherwise ordinary object that turns me into a softie.

How come they never tell you that some people don't outgrow things like this? I told Brent about this phenomenon once and he said "Its cause you're getting old Katherine". I wanted to punch him in the face.

I have a pencil box at my parent's house that is a relic into a glimpse of my childhood. All the nice pencils with the dangly tops or holograms remain unsharpened, all the cool erasers in mint condition...

Looking at it makes me think I should have used it all back then instead of saving it, cause somewhere along the lines I grew up and never got to feel that smug feeling while using them to ace yet another vocab test.

As an adult, I'm not one to save anything. If I like something I use it/wear it to death. Theres no point in saving, theres always something cooler around the corner... you may as well enjoy something while its relevant.

  1. wee! I think that cutie sponge would make dish-washing a whimsical fun activity!
