Before Sunrise

This morning I used a palette knife to spread jam on my toast. Is that completely ghetto or totally arty? I just didn't have any clean butter knives. And the palette knife was just sitting there in my drawer volunteering itself.

I finally watched Before Sunrise. I'll admit I was ready to kind of rip it apart 'cause I'd heard it was basically all conversational... And 5 minutes into it I was already snickering over how 90s Ethan Hawke looked with his goatee and leather jacket...but all in all I think I liked it. It was fairly realistic in its depiction of how two people can hit it off in a short amount of time if the stars are aligned.

I even started getting stressed out for when Julie Delphy and Ethan Hawke had to say goodbye. I haven't had to say goodbye to someone in a long time but it reminded me of how distressing it can be.

  1. I haven't been able to watch "Before Sunrise" all the way through. My sister loves it though. I think "Waking Life" ruined that movie for me. Have you seen that pile of shit? If not, please don't ever go near it.

*Your palette knife solution sounds fine to me. It looks like a butter knife!

  2. A palette knife makes a suitable cheese cutter as well :)

And I like your mini-looking blog (or is it just me?)
