Happy Easter
It has to be said. I made a fool of myself again at that godamn CVS. They really ought to put up a sign--"Line starts here". Either that, or I need to stop spacing out. Seriously though, it's the stupidest layout ever in that the registers are all on one long horizontal bar...it's inviting free-for-all situations, in which the first person to the counter wins.

did i ever tell you about my experience at a CVS in boston? this college freshman group of girls started openly bitching when i went to the cashier, in this kind of line. b/c it was first come first serve, imo. anyway, i turned around and said "CALM THE FUCK DOWN!" and they were aghast. but none dared fight the only minority in town.
