I always start baking without checking to see that I have all my materials and ingredients.
I always come to the realization when its too late to turn back... after cracking eggs, heating sugar, etc. In addition, I always procrastibake at 10pm so its a real inconvenience cause I'm already in my home clothes. Yes. I have home clothes. Don't even.
Anyway tonight was no different. I started making something and halfway in I saw that I had no corn syrup or parchment paper, which is of utmost importance. So I dragged myself out of the house and walked to the store which isn't that big of a deal anyway.
But of course the minute I was back in my home clothes I realized that I had forgotten the parchment paper. So stewwwpid!
So then I have to change into my real clothes for the millionth time today and then because I'm a wierdo I get in my car to drive to the grocery store a few miles away because I hate going back to the first grocery store and dealing with the "you forgot something eh?" small talk at the register.
Ugh.
Seriously.
Sometimes I wonder why I even.
hehe I commiserate--I have home clothes too. I also have home bras and underwear :-0
ReplyDeleteprocrastibake - Hahahah! I love it.
ReplyDeleteUnlike you, I love striking up a conversation with the people who check out my grocery items. "Hello Karen! How's your dog, Stewie?" "Yes, I'm buying MORE granola bars for students."
I'm too lazy to change into home clothes. Are they equivalent to pajamas?
CARAMELS--YES!!!!!!! (7 exclamation points, one for each caramel received)
ReplyDeletethis happens to me all the time too & of course i have home clothes too.
